Feeling frazzled?  If you’re in need of some serious R&R, indulge yourself at Brazil’s Spa Pandora with an exfoliating body treatment of Dead Sea salts or a truly luxurious six-hand massage (given by three therapists), all given outdoors in the middle of a lush, tropical garden.

30 miles outside of São Paulo, Spa Pandora is housed at a one-of-a-kind estate, the Hotel Unique Garden, amid hilly acres of lush gardens that are in bloom year-round.  Teeming with rare and tropical flowers and herbs, the spectacular gardens are planted and maintained by a team of ten landscape designers and supply the ingredients for the natural spa treatments and produce for the restaurant’s menu.

The spa’s specialty is mineral spring baths, including the Dead Sea Bath (with salts imported from Israel) and the Red Wine Steam Bath (with antioxidant-rich grapeseeds and wine).  Treatment kiosks are scattered throughout the grounds. In addition to innovative treatments, the spa offers a wet and dry sauna, outdoor yoga and meditation classes given in a pavilion with forest views, and a Pilates studio.

Recharging your batteries never sounded better.

If you can’t get to Brazil soon, try the Hot Stone Massage or the Sea Holistic Spa Treatment at Malika Skin Care in Hanover, MA.  http://www.malikaskincare.com
