What do you get when you take one empty space, fill it with the creative vision of top interior designers and architects, and add the world’s most innovative products? Casa Décor – “A design exhibition unlike any other and a showcase for a range of inspirational living spaces, encompassing all perspectives of decoration.”
Casa Décor has been drawing visionaries and visitors for the last twenty years to Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Lisbon, Porto, the Algarve, Cascais, Buenos Aires, Miami, Sao Paulo and Milan. But this year for the first time, the show hits London. Casa Décor challenges its participants to transform an empty building into a showcase for the designers, architects, artists, decorators and manufacturers who put their work on display.
The London show will take place in an old Royal Mail sorting office in Islington from Sep 7 – Oct 14. Casa Décor will be partnering with the London Design Festival so expect to see more luminaries from the worlds of interior and industrial design than ever, and get your tickets early! With the number of prized architects, designers and companies orbiting around the British capital, this edition of Casa Décor could just be the must-see event of 2007.
