Pour some Sugar on Me

Thanks to our friends at getsugar Boston’s best online catalog of local luxuries, we’re changing those indelible Def Leppard lyrics (what do you mean you hate Def Leppard?!) to Shower some sugar on me. Shower, as in “Vichy shower.”

Rain showerheads are nice, spraying wall tiles are cool, but until you’ve experienced a Vichy shower, you haven’t really showered. A Vichy shower has five to seven shower heads, pouring out soothing, cleansing water on to the spa-goer who lies on a customized wet table. Spa treatments are administered while the shower is on, creating a unique experience. Rather than having to get up and rinse off the salt or mud or mask from the treatment, the lucky customer just lies under the cascade of warm water.

Doesn’t that sound sweet? Well getsugar is showering Misstropolites with love by passing on a special deal which makes the Vichy even more delicious.

Enjoy a 60 minute body polish plus the Vichy Shower at 50% off, only $55 at Alexander’s Salon and Spa in Wenham.
Plus, you get to say you had a Vichy Shower…

A darling of Daily Candy: “The little-known, adorably sized (read: located in a quaint Victorian home) oasis may be a bit off the main drag, in Wenham, but what it lacks in proximity it so makes up for with highly personalized service;” and the Boston Globe, Alexander’s Salon and Spa also won Best of Boston, north in Boston Magazine last year.

The treatment should be enough to ease that migraine-inducing tune right out of your head.
